Let’s get one thing out of the way: You are not “too much.” You are not broken. And you don’t need to be shrunk, silenced, or smoothed out to deserve support.

Unapologetic Counseling & Wellness exists because too many people have been told—explicitly or subtly- that their grief should be quieter, their needs smaller, their relationships easier, and their healing faster. That’s not how being human works. And here, I am not interested in pretending otherwise.

This practice was built for people who are tired of holding it all together. For the individuals who are functioning on the outside and unraveling on the inside. For the couples navigating grief, resentment, infertility, loss, chronic stress, or the slow drift that no one warns you about. For anyone who has been through something that changed them, and is tired of being asked when they’ll “be back to normal.” Here, we tell the truth.

Therapy at Unapologetic Counseling & Wellness is not about fixing you or forcing positivity. It’s about creating space for the things you’ve learned to carry quietly: anger, heartbreak, longing, exhaustion, fear, love, and hope that feels risky to name. We slow things down. We get curious instead of judgmental. We honor what you’ve survived and what you still want.

So here is what I believe:

Healing doesn’t require you to pretend like you're okay.

Grief doesn’t follow timelines. It is very much non-linear, and can be chaotic at times.

Relationships don’t fall apart because people are bad.

You can be deeply grateful and deeply unhappy at the same time (If you know me, you know two things can be true is a therapy line everyone hears at least once a session).

This is a trauma-informed, attachment-focused space where your story matters. Where your body, history, and nervous system are part of the conversation—not afterthoughts. Where we can sit with the hard stuff without rushing to silver linings.

And yes, this work is very personal. My practice is rooted in lived experience, not just clinical training. Loss, uncertainty, and life-altering moments aren’t unknown to me. They’re understood on a human level. That means you won’t be met with a blank slate. You’ll be met with honesty, compassion, and a therapist who isn’t afraid to say "this really sucks."

Unapologetic Counseling & Wellness is for people who want real conversations, real tools, and real connection. For people who are ready to stop apologizing for their feelings and start listening to them instead.

If you’re here, something in you is asking for care. You don’t have to justify that. You don’t have to minimize it.

You’re allowed to take up space here. And when you’re ready, I'll meet you—exactly where you are.
