Meet Your Facilitator

I’m Casey Luciano, MS, LAMFT, PMH-C, and founder of Unapologetic Counseling & Wellness.

I’ve been facilitating this group since December 2023, and I’m so grateful to share this space with you.

My clinical work centers on supporting women, men, and couples through grief, loss, and the life transitions that leave you thinking, Wait… this was NOT how this was supposed to go.

I’m also a first-trimester loss mom myself. Alongside my professional experience, I bring my own understanding of how isolating loss can feel—and how strange it can be to keep functioning in a world that keeps moving when yours has changed.

My hope is that this group gives you a place where you don’t have to perform being okay, find the lesson, or make your grief smaller for anyone else.

What to expect

If you’re feeling nervous, awkward, or unsure about joining, that’s completely understandable. We keep things relaxed, compassionate, and judgment-free.

We’ll begin with introductions, with an invitation to share a little about yourself, your baby, and what brought you here. You decide how much you share. Listening is always welcome.

From there, we’ll make space for whatever people are carrying—the grief, questions, anger, sadness, unexpected moments, and feelings that don’t fit neatly into words. Before we wrap up, there will be time for final thoughts or questions.

You can talk, listen, cry, laugh, or sit quietly. You can feel okay and still be grieving. You can have a hard day without needing to explain it.

There’s no right way to show up. Just come as you are.

Finally, I’m honored to sit in this space with you.

I look forward to seeing you all soon.

With gratitude, Casey Luciano, MS, LAMFT, PMH-C Support Group Facilitator Founder, Unapologetic Counseling & Wellness
